Civil Development Organization-CDO was one of the sponsors of the first Surna Music Festival in Sulaymaniyah.
On October 25 and 26 in order to keep the Kurdish folklore music and songs alive, Nwegar Organization in cooperation with the General Directorate of Culture and Art in Sulaymaniyah, CDO and Kurdsat Broadcasting Corporation organized the festival at Talari Hunar (Art Palace), with the participation of a number of well-known artists and 13 music bands from different regions of the Kurdistan Region.
